Building this up for an old friend who has had it about 12 years. It’s frame and forks only so nice little project for me.
He had it resprayed after he first bought it and been hanging on his wall since.

Lovely, I have a soft spot for a Hetchins. My late grandfather had a couple built for him in the late 1940s. The two bikes were legendary in his stories, that was from someone who had owned and ridden just about every type of bike you can imagine. He re acquired one of them in his older age and had it refurbished thus perpetuating the legend. My love of all things bicycle has definitely got something to do with him and indeed my grandmother who was just as passionate about cycling.

He was waiting for me to turn up with it and as I drew up at the front of his house and he saw it his eyes lit up. His wife has advanced dementia and he looks after her at home 24/7.
