Are the components tricking me or is it 1950s Claud Butler?

Some of the kit is 70's but the frame, front changer, cranks, downtube shifter are older. Can't see a lot of detail on this cheap tablet though lol

I sometimes find that’s the attraction of an auction if it’s nearby as you’d really want to have a good look in person which limits the price! This one unfortunately nowhere near me but thought it might interest someone. That lever operated double at the front - what’s the point - the inner ring is almost the same diameter as the outer isn’t it?

Think that is referred to as a half step double. 46/49 is fairly common.
