1937 Maclean Barn find

COUPES

Retro Guru
Friends uncle passed away and left two bikes in his barn. A 1936? Maclean and a 1956 Flying Scot.
The Maclean is nearly all original exept for a 40s Cyclo Olympic Sport 3 speed and unknown 26" rear wheel.
22 1/2" frame, clip type stem, hiduminum girder stem and bars. Resilion brakes front and rear. Williams 5 pin cranks and chain ring.
Brampton pedals. Dunlop 26" steel front wheel with Airlite hub. Brooks saddle, not sure which one yet. Lace up holes though.

The Flying Scot has had updated parts. 21 1/2" frame with Nervex professional lugs. 26" wheels. Weinmann blue circle rims and Exelto hubs. Cinelli bars and stem, mafac brakes. Campag gears and dural double chainring. Think Lytaloy pedals? Concor saddle.
Both need a clean and some tlc but really pleased I got them today!!!! Trying to upload pics grrr!

Re:

Thanks Terry love peter underwoods site. Uploaded some pictures on Twit-er to Retrobike. Forgot to mention it came with a double spring clip bottle cage and a Allez water bottle that's full and Coloral water bottle. The cork on the Allez is stuck fast but won't be drinking it.

The best bit and still in shock. Allez bottle cage and Allez bottle was still full of water! The other bottle is Coloral.
