So up for sale is my ultra classic 1992 Orange Clockwork.
I have an Ebay listing found here.... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/251863368490? ... 1555.l2649
Im sorry to see this beauty go, but I have to make some space for other bikes.
It has all original parts, original paint and original decals. It is in great condition considering the age it is. There is one "major" scratch on the top tube which could be patched up if you wanted. (Pictured) I have left it as it does not bother me and just adds to the history of the bike. Other than that there are no dents or major marks.
It has had a few additions over the time I have owned it, the most notable is the internal Shimano Nexus hub on the back. It is a 7 speed hub however I have kept the DX derailleur on the back allowing the ability to still run a triple on the front giving you a full 21 gears.
Others are SKS mudguards and Schwalbe Marathon Plus tyres.
New V Brakes to replace the old Canti levers (which would work fine if wanted)
This has become an unbeatable town hack about bike and has served me very well in commutes to and from work in all conditions. It is all working perfectly and ready to roll.
I have also changed handlebars from the original Hot Rods but kept it Orange with some Supercross 2 bars as a replacement.
All spares will be thrown in with the bike if you want to replace the Nexus hub and go back to the original, or mix up the bars or brakes.
It is listed as collection only, however if you sort out a courier service and want to pay the delivery charges I am more than happy to box it up ready for transport.
Here is a spec list and please contact me for any information or any offers.
For anyone looking for a classic this is as good as it gets. Thanks.
1992 Orange Clockwork.
Original Shimano DX Groupset.
Mavic M231 Rims.
Schwalbe Marathon Plus Tyres.
Shimano Nexus Rear Hub.
Orange Stalk Lite Stem with Supercross 2 Bars.
