top of the range model from legandary manufacturer Townsend.
1991 (?) AL CARTER 'BLACK PANTHER' FRAME AND FORK PACKAGE
Made in the same factory as many Gary Fisher Bikes of the same era and with which it shares the same 1 -1/4" headtube.
Cool Matt black and it's in excellent condition given its years. No dents and only the odd scratch and light rust spot here and there. No visible chainsuck or any other such nasties
Includes front mech pulley and the original YST headset. The headset would benefit from a quick regrease and adjustment but it feels fine.
This bike was originally spec'd with a full DX groupset and RM20s
Sizes
Seat tube - 15.5" C-C and 16.75" C-T
Top tube - 20.5" C-C
Seatpost - Dunno...but it looks around the 30mm ish. Looks like it was stuck in the frame at one point.
All threads etc in tip top knick.
