FULL DISCLOSER, THE WHEEL SET AND HUBS ARE MADE IN CHINA. THE CARBON WHEELS WERE CUSTOM DRILLED FOR ME AND HAVE REINFORCED BRAKING SURFACES TO BE USED WITH CORK BRAKE PADS. THE HUBS ARE IDENTICLE TO THE TUNE MIG HUBS WITH CERAMIC BEARING BUT ONLY THE TUNE LOGO ISN'T ON THE HUBS BUT I HAVE THE DECALS COMING TO ME SHORTYLY. THESE 2 ITEMS ARE JUST AS RELIABLE AS THE REAL COMPONENTS BUT THE COSTS...... LASTLY I AM CURRANTLY USING TUBES WITH THE WHEEL SET BUT THEY ARE TUBELESS READY.

Would love to hear some feed back on what you think of the bike but please be nice. I really tried to do my best in describing it. The photos don't do the bike justice you really need to see it in real life but I understand it's hard to do since the bike is over the pond here in the states. I would guarantee your happiness with it upon arrival. Best of all, it's ready to ride right out of the box.

You have clearly put a lot of time and attention into the refurbishment and it does look very impressive. I'm sure that your asking price is reasonable owing to the cost of some of the components but us British can be fairly reserved and we tend to value a balanced bike that is functional as well as aesthetically pleasing. This month's BOTM competition has plenty of examples. Indeed, most members here, just like you, enjoy the build / refurbishment of classic bikes so the demand for complete bikes can be limited.

Anyhow, good luck with the sale and I look forward to seeing some more Serottas

I have had it priced all along it's towards the end of the description/full discloser part but since there is so much information it's getting lost. As a matter of fact, I just lowered it after talking to another person here on RetroBike from $2000 US to $1750.00 shipped and insured to the UK. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.

I know you've put the time and effort into building it, but I think it's a prime candidate for splitting. Going to enjoy the build thread after tea - I love a good weenie! Price seems more than reasonable given a quick glance down the spec list, not that I'd be so crude as to comment

Splitting the bike up isn't an option that I would consider. But if someone see's something that they have to have off of it, I would be willing to listen. There is another option, with my contacts in China I am able to duplicate anything you see on the bike. Just think what a carbon framed version of the bike would look like. Now that would be a true one of a kind bike.
