134/135 mm sq-taper b/b in 68 mm shell needed

Howdy all. I am in need of a square taper, 68 mm shell bottom bracket in a 134 or 135 mm long flavor. Looking for decent quality and smooth operation, preferably nos or near new if at all possible ...

check out local bike shops. you can get shimano ones.
I get them at Capp's and BSP. if not in stock will order it in for you.

Yup - will be at the show.

And - nope ... you can't get anything longer than 127 mm spindle length nowadays; and I am re-building an '82 Rocky Mntn Sherpa that uses a 135 mm long shaft b/bracket.

C'est un conundrum!!

Thanks Ishaw - I did order one of those (or something very very similar), and while it will allow me to move ahead with the build, the quality of the unit is total shite, and even though new it spins really roughly. I definitely need/wish to replace it with something better.

Could you try a standard shimano unit with a long axle? You could probably buy a decent axle to mate with the cups and bearings.
