i know a 65 to 85 mm fork is recommonded for a bontrager.i have a vintage 100mm marzocchi with a 1" steer tube..

will this work on the 96 bontrager or will the frame geometry be screwed up by this much travel..the frame is a XL 21" center of BB to top of seatpost tube..

anyone running this much travel on there bonty's ?

i am a heavier rider right at or over 200lbs.i do get a lot of sag on a 65mm or a 85mm fork..

Don't do it! Even 80mm is too long for that frame, 100mm will ruin the handling Bontragers are famous for - if you're getting too much sag you need heavier springs/more air in your 63mm fork.
