Up here in MacRetroland us Scots who its universally accepted like a wee bargain are planning to compete in 2014's 'No Fuss Events - 10 Under The Ben' a ten hour enduro open to solos and teams. There is even a Retro bike category, possibly involving rim brakes, sub 2" travel suspension and lurid lycra XC wear

Several of us have signed up as solo riders, we'll operate from a common staging area but will set our own timetable as team orders can be a bit frustrating at times.
Best bit is this year its only £10 a head which is bargaintastic

There's talk in our camp of a MacRetro sub comp within the event. How many laps can you get in on a proper retrobike. Show these modern riders how its done, or in my case how its not done :roll:
