Changed my old Moots up to a 1x12 Sram AXS drivetrain, my biggest problem encountered was trying to get a decent and lightweight cassette to fit the 135mm axled HG 9spd freehub on these Mavic Crossmax SLR's, after much hunting I found a company, GARBARUK.com in Poland who make the most epic cassettes ever!!! , they did this 12spd Sram/Shimano compatible spacing 11-52 cassette that fits straight to a std HG freehub , no mods needed bolts straight up!!
So far soo good, 1 x 12 is amazing, just a note too, the whole cassette only weighs 330grams!!!! its an amazing bit of engineering!! running a 34t up front as well.

IF anyone's 385545067_365837839455889_6270785394319236285_n.webp 368012745_363661059399002_5664324987971317128_n.webp interested the whole bike weighs 9kg

For those of you looking to do it on a budget, a 12 speed SRAM SX/NX cassette would fit on a standard freehub and be rather cheaper, but also heavier. Personally, I think 10spd Deore is the sweet spot - gets you down to a 46t cassette and gets me up most things with a 30t chainset.

Your moots does look very swish though...
