I purchased a boxed 1 1/8th one off ebay that arrived in its original box. On the packageing there is a tick box to indicate diameter and it lists both 1 1/8th and 1", So I assume at least that they did.

You could however get a 1 1/8th and shim it to fit. Infact if your interested in a gunmetal one, I may be able to do you a deal as I decided it didnt look right on my Roberts after all.

Thanks for the offer but I've never been convinced with shims for stems, just doesn't seem right somehow.

Pace stem was only ever 1 1/8. Would have bought one BITD if they'd ever made them.

I've heard of several people on here who bought them for 1" steerers and tried using them with shims but because of the pinch bolt tightnening, had to sell them on again.

I ran a 1 1/8th" one with a shim on my 1" steerer Dogs Bolx for years with no ill-effects.

@Jerky - how much for the gunmetal one you've got? I might be interested in another one.
