‘97 Proflex 857 For Sale £350

I’ve decided to sell my Proflex 857.

I bought it very recently as a donor bike for my Alpinestars build, however have realised that it’s a bit too nice to split really.

The frame is Large (too big for me and another reason I’m selling) and in really good shape, particularly the Carbon swingarm.

The bike has been modified a little over the years, with the Girvin fork being replaced by a Rock Shox Tora with working lockout and Ritchey stem, bars (need grips as I chopped them off), seatpost and saddle. The group set is still all XT and the wheels are Mavic 220’s with Wilderness Trail Grease Guard front hub and Shimano RO-80 Silent clutch rear hub. The tyres are panaracer, but to be fair are cracking a little, so could do with swapping out.

Like I said...I’m only selling as it’s a bit nice to split, however if I don’t have any interest over the next week that’s exactly what I’ll do and sell the frame at a later date...
