    Seat tube crack - advice wanted

    10mm should be 100mm I guess? Maybe the seatpost needs to be even longer. It looks like it has cracked simply because of too much strain. How long is the protruding part of the seat tube?

    One good thing with the old steel cottered cranks, is that they can have an extremely low q-value, even narrower than the aluminum Stronglight and TA cranks. There's nothing good with the cotter interface though, it plainly sucks. edit: Oh, I forgot! What is that round thing on the right fork...

    Wedges are in all different angles, be prepared of grinding the stem to match the new wedge.

    I think there are dozens of forks that look like that. But I have an old GT fork that I can't distinguish from yours.
