Yes, I've read that they had some problems with them, I really like the look of the Answer stems or something similar but 1 1/4 doesn't seem to be common and are proving quite hard to find

Hi guys, I have a '91 Alpinestars Cro-Mega DX that I'm trying to finish off and I'm trying to find a 1 1/4 stem. Would prefer an original A\stars or Answer A-tac if anybody out there knows of one that needs a home. Cheers, Chris

Thats the baby!! Those original pics are great, had already seen them when trawling tinternet, I had the same problem with the frame but only had to replace it once and got palmed off with a purple one, looked like a mirage or maybe the later peak model. Anyway, What size frame is yours?

Does anyone know where I can lay my hands on either a Raleigh Peak or a Dune Dancer? Used to have a peak back in the good old days and loved it till some thieving bu@*#r nicked it. As for the Dune Dancer I can't even find anything written about them, I am sure they came before the peak but...
