Hope 3 front and rear calipers and levers Seem to work ok, I bought them, then bought a different set so I've not had them on a bike The hoses could do with replacing in my opinion £60 + postage, or collect from Lancashire

Finally bought some silver DMR V8 pedals, removed the avid brakes, and offered up the Hope 3s on the rear So far I am really happy with my progress, taking a working bike that was short a set of pedals, and turning it into a pile of parts in my garage! Also if anyone is interested in a set...

Eagle eyed viewers may have already noticed a flaw in my plan - the hubs don't have disc mounts, and neither do the forks 😅 So I managed to find a pair of Hope XC hubs locally I'm also currently looking out for some early Marzocchi Bombers :-)

Then, I stumbled across some even nicer Hope 3, 4 piston calipers that look even nicer, and are even more overkill! Plus I prefer the levers that comes with them too! ... still no pedals though

Clearly next I needed some pedals, but I found a cool set of Hope 5 calipers and levers for sale... I love this design of caliper! Levers are nice too
