Bought by myself back in 1992 it had infrequent use then was stored in a cupboard since. The Pump system works perfectly with no leaks. Due to the age I wouldn't recommend using it for protection, it's more as a collectable item. Condition is decent for its age, the shell is starting to come...

I still have it yes! Not riding it though as I bought a modern Trek 8000 in summer 2006, then got into road bikes and now have six of those... I did keep them! Well, until 2006 then they went on eBay for £130 8) so glad I hung onto them.

Yeah, I think they did frames too. I recall seeing one in MBA pro's bikes. Had a Unishock, Disc Drive and snowflake front wheel. Yep. I thought it was named after a Debbie Harry album, but that was Koo Koo.

Double what I paid for it a couple of years back! I've a fair few more in that series too. Would be worth £250+ if it was still sealed in the box. Lego is a sound investment if you buy the right sets, tricky to know what's going to get removed from the range and become sought after though. Also...

Possibly the best set available outset Chez Herbold! ;) These are my own. I doubt I'll ever use them so I'm hoping someone else will buy them and also not make use of them. That way I can spend the money on rubbish that won't appreciate nearly as much as these babies. Hang on, I'm talking...

Just a heads up for you guys. I'm sure most of you avoid MBUK these days, but it's prob worth the £4 next month as there is a free DVD of "Dirt", the MTB flick from the mid 90s. It's billed as bonus material to the main free "Flow" DVD so I doubt it'll have the original JMC cover to grab...

I've just subscribed to MBA (US mag) digitally. It costs less than a quid per issue and you get it as soon as it goes to print, no delay while they post it and no problems trying to find a copy. IMO it's a great read. I must have hundreds of old MBUK, MBR and MBAs from '89 onwards.

I don't know of a mod to do it. You could maybe customise the code but the big pain with that is when phpBB group release updates you need to redo your changes. It's a pain, I speak from experience!

I remember those! I saw a NOS pair on eBay a while back, went for quite a heft sum.
