Re: Re: I'd check that you haven't damaged the tapers by using a JIS bb with and ISOO crankset. Not a happy combination, can result in cracking the cranks

Re: Nope. 430 & 440 were made by Modolo. Mavic 451 were made by Dia Compe. How do I know? I had em all at one time or another. Thanks. ;)

Beautiful build, but the pedals you have are not correct. You need a pair of the original Time TBT's not the wedge shaped ones there. The older ones had the "Racing Clip" that held them open for ease of entry. http://www.bikepro.com/arch_products/pe ... pedal.html

I'd rethink the rims if you plan on riding the Ronde. Recorde du Monde rims are somewhat delicate for Flanders. GP4 or SSC rims are far better suited to pave.
