Gutted my friend just gave me brand new a pair of Vitoria gravel tyres 35mm not enough clearance. So back to the drawing board. I think 30mm is the winner. Any recommendations on a gravel tyre?

Yep it’s an Eclat! First ride today and loved it so smooth and quiet! There is some tatty bits like the crank arms which originally white are battered so I need to replace those and I’d like a single chainring at the front to clean it up a bit. The brake hoods are battered too so I’m thinking...

update so after being messed about red collection of the record race I’ve decided against it. Picked up the “unknown” Raleigh above and it’s way too big for the mrs. It rides well and is in good condition with two brand new gator skin tyres which are worth more than what I paid. Now the nerd...

It’s a 531 seems in pretty good condition and is about 30 miles away as opposed to the record sprint which is about 90 miles away but looks in better condition. Argh this is tricky

Thanks for the reply. Removing one of the front chainrings is a good idea. I like the idea of it being hassle free low maintenance. I like a simple life. so would I have to constantly adjust the chain length depending on what sprocket I wanted to ride in?
