    Harry Hall 531 Professional (complete)

Re: Harry Hall 531 Professional resist new paint, that can be done later if you really feel the need. Original is always best and bikes are for riding, not just for show :)

Re: Harry Hall 531 Professional Tyres and bar tape are consumables, bike looks ace 8) Are those Sachs Huret Aris downtube levers by any chance? I only ask because I fitted a set to my Basso, but I think I managed to lose some small ball bearings from inside the right hand lever. I got some...

    Harry Hall 531 Professional (complete)

Re: Harry Hall 531 Professional Is it plain white enamel or polychromatic? I have used fine steel wool and smoothrite (smooth hammerite) with some success. Its surprising how easy it is to accept something which hasn't cost an arm and a leg :D There is always the option of a professional...

    Harry Hall 531 Professional (complete)

Re: Harry Hall 531 Professional I think you're on the right lines, leave as is with a good clean and touch up. Personally I wouldn't get over concerned about a perfect paint match so long as I wound up with a good useable bike. Nice frameset :)

    orbit gold medal 531

I remember these when I got this Orbit Pro for my eldest daughter C1990. The company still exist (Sheffield). The Gold Medal had more relaxed touring geometry and AFAIK was their top tourer. Think I paid about £140 for the frame and fork. Yours looks to be in very nice condition 8)

    Basso resurrected

I bought this frameset C1990 and built it for my youngest daughter. I recently "rescued" the bike from her garden and sent it to Ellis Briggs who managed to remove the stuck seatpost and stem as well as have it re-enamelled with new decals got from the internet. The bike has been rebuilt with...
