Hi, found some long lost Weinmann Carrera 400 brake callipers but front brake centre bolt snapped long ago. Anyone happen to have such a thing or a tatty Carrera front brake they want to sell?
Has to be Allen key fitting
Thanks
Hi I’ve long since mislaid a Campagnolo brake shoe including wheel guide for 80s Record/Super Record brakes.
Anyone got an odd one in the spares boxes that they would be willing to sell?
Thanks, I'll get back to you, as found that I can't get the Look cleat off one of the shoes after all these years, so I may have to give up on putting period specific pedals on rebuild
Hi, anyone have any old style, pre clipless shoe cleats, to use with a campag style pedal and toeclips. I have Sidi shoes with plastic sole, rather than so no nail in cleats thanks!
I had quite a few back in the 80s, ranging from Campag super record, Suntour Superb Pro, Weinman 405s, and Shimano Dura Ace 7400. The Dura Ace worked the best.

Fair play to him, might push the price of all our retro bikes up!

I've had very similar working, however on one that I've got working at the moment the cage runs very close the to teeth plus chain when in 2nd gear on a 12-28 cassette.
Thanks for the advice, my shim is wider than the clamping area, although the edges are pretty smooth, I've just used black tape over the edges at the moment, but might make a narrower shim and smooth the edges as best I can for such a thin material.
Hi all, recently bought a pair of handlebars that were meant to measure 26.0 for a 3ttt quill stem. The stem just floated over the raised central section of the bars. I don't have a guage so don't which one is incorrect, but suspect it's the bars as I removed the stem from some old 3ttt Moscow...
