A quick update on my RTS… I have fitted a Smoke and Dart, the IRC Mythos tyre that were on there are worn and the front has a split. I need to sort a new stem, the Kona Velocity one isn’t in keeping with the bike! Need a front mech as well, the XT one isn’t the right size what size clamp do in...

I can’t help you with your search for a frame, but I had the exact same Talera at 14 as well. Many happy memories of that bike. Good luck finding one!

Spent a bit of time in the garage today. The RTS is on its wheels. The Mag 21 has been sat in the loft since before COVID, I was going to use it with my Kilauea but the steerer was too short, it’s perfect on the RTS though. More to come, I am on the lookout for a front mech, a stem and some bar...

Some GT handlebars arrived in the post this morning… they’re definitely not NOS but they’re going to look good on the RTS. (Edit- forgot to add the picture)

I’ve started to get some parts together for the RTS. Big shout out to @Minifreak who has sold me some STX canti brakes… looking forward to getting these on the bike!

I’ve always loved GT bikes and in 1994 when I was in my teens, I wanted nothing more than an RTS or an LTS. Fast forward to Mountain Mayhem in 2019 and whilst chatting with some of the RB crowd I was told get an RTS. So here we are! I got this RTS 3 frame off eBay, it’s not a ball burnished...

It’s a keeper…. The rocker bearings are on the way but will be ok for now. Thanks for your help, I really should start a thread about it.

I’ve been offered a GT RTS frame. I’ve disconnected the shock and from the rocker pivot there is a little play from side to side. Ordinary I’d think this was wrong but I’m sure I recall that there was some sort of play? Any help with what is right and wrong would be appreciated before I pull...

I loved my Team ST. Almost certainly the best handling bike I’ve ever owned. Should never have sold it!

I seem to recall Heffs had a bike called a Popcorn Blizzard. I recall it being advertised in the back of MBUK.
