    Carrera Quattro Comp GT 18''

Re: Absolutely lovely. This must be one of the very first batch. Interesting to see a lugged frame. Do you remember how long it was before the lugs disappeared and the u-brake went?

    Carrera Quattro Comp GT 18''

Have treasured this lovely classic for years. All original and in excellent condition. Bought new in March 1991, this was my wife's bike. I had a 19'' frame and used mine every weekend for 15 years. My wife used hers 3 times: even The Farmer John's Nephew tyres are in perfect condition, no...

    Dawes Mounting Bike

Re: Bars and stem You are blessed, good sir. I've just been into the garage and found your bars and stem. I'm actually driving down from Manchester to Taunton, tomorrow, so if there's an address I can call in at, you can even avoid postage, too. Bargain parts!!!!! Let me know :D Chris

    Dawes Mounting Bike

Re: Original spec Both the Rangers I owned came with a double golf club stem, even though they were built a few years apart. They also had the unusual sliding seat pillar which allowed horizontal adjustment, fore and aft. If I've still got the parts somewhere in the garage, they're available...

Cheeky offers considered. No offence taken.

It turned out that the Kili had a duff bottom bracket thread so I let it go as a freebie along with the bike stand. Not sure if it is going to be built up as a runner or whether it'll hang in a garage for years again like it did with me....

Glad you're riding it. It's a great bicycle, as you know. All the best Idiot

Response  The Ranger is a lovely example of its sort and, as has been mentioned by others, here on the site, was offered at a very good price. The Bike was well packaged and promptly delivered, as promised. The Buyer is unhappy that his new steed is not "Factory Fresh", even though it...

    Gadgets

I'm the sort of Magpie who sees a bargain and buys it, tries it then puts it to one side. Here's some kit which may be of interest. Bought this kit, similar to the Parrot, to connect up my music, in the car. Ended up using it connected to speakers, in the lounge, for 3 weeks until I...

    £30 collected NOW SOLD

Re: £30 collected So glad you like it. Selling the stand gave me an excuse to share my pride and joy. It's only done 50 miles from new and lives in the lounge.

    £30 collected NOW SOLD

Decathlon Cycle Work Stand. This has seen very little use and performs "as new". Price from Decathlon is £59. Price for this beauty, collected from Manchester is £30. I'm not averse to posting it but, financially, it wouldn't make sense, cos it's very well made and very heavy.

Nitto Bull Moose New Old Stock

Hello Mr Panda Yes, the Sram i motion 9 uses a specific changer, much like the Rohloff. You can see it as it was fitted to the Cruiser in one of last week's posts and it is included in the sale, now. It's a cracking set up, with gear ratios set at equal, very useable steps...
