Thank you very much for the recommendations regarding both the tires and the thumby adjuster! The bike has been under construction...

She will get some upgrade soon. Had to restore them. Removed faded black anodising, replaced the bushings and seals.

I’ve used a BB-UN70 XT with 122,5mm spindle from ‘91. It is just enough long for the e-stay frame, but I think it would not work on a frame with “normal” chainstay

With her original stem (it weights double the ITM).. Just a few more days and a black A-tac will arrive, it will be a hard decision which one to stay with:/ And an almost nos black Xt seatpost is on it’s way to me, still couldn’t find a nice polished.

I gave up finding an affordable solution for now, so I’ll use Ritchey Logic brakes. Not the best looking, but definitely the best feel cantilever brakes (with the paul levers and coolstop pads) I’ve ever had. And it wasn't complicated to set up either.

Finally, the wheels are ready. Used Matrix Voodoo rims with DT 1.5 spokes and steel nipples. They almost weight less, than the ritchey tires I’ll fit on them.. (1620g) Never seen any of my wheels spin as long as these. Also love the sound of the rear hub;)

Yes, more or less:) My frame/forks will be dark metallic blue (if the paint will ever been finished..) I'm looking for a stem just like on the picture, but seems it won't be easy.. :/ There was a fully restored neon-yellow coloured A-tac on ebay a few weeks ago, but couldn't manage to get it...
