Hi all, I've been running XT M739 v brakes but looking to add a brake boss mounted front rack too. The parallel push mechanism is proving to be an issue so looking for a basic silver brake to test out the rack before maybe replacing it with something nicer. Open to anything that's cheap...

I bought these on eBay but they didn't fit the older ('98) bar (with c.17mm internal diameter) I had planned to use them with. Was tight but unfortunately would not go in. They fit an EA50 bar with 18.2mm internal diameter nicely. They cost me £23. Yours, unused, for £20, Inc postage...

Whilst these are different clamp sizes, they worked well together with a tidy coca-cola can shim as attached :) 1. Specialized Rockhopper Straight Bars. Uncut 560mm length, 25.4 mm bar clamp, dated 1998. Great condition with good logos, some minor marks. £20 posted. Bar photos...

New bar and stem are definitely an improvement. Have gone from 560mm to 665mm wide :) And it's about 100mm lower

Great seller. Bought an EA50 bar, very happy with it. Would definately buy from @TerryParadise again.

Here we go! For now. Have a lower stem and wider bar on the way, but really happy with how it's riding. Maybe add some gears in the future... Let's wait and see.
