Cannot help but agree -whoever did this drilling is an idiot..... seriously compromised the structural integrity of this dropout,,,,absolutely guaranteed to fail & leave the rider at risk....should immediately be withdrawn from sale.....

That is a pity to learn of his poor despatch as his frame listing seems to be an excellent blue re-finish; just needs a headbadge & some decals....

That transfer is period Reynolds style from early 50's...lots of surface corrosion though...beware what lies beneath...

Reasonable for what it is compared to some of the outrageous asking prices of late; serial number might have helped to date it though...plain lugs & built for 27" wheels rather than the 700's pictured

Auctions have their place for sure but don't hold you're breath to get anything like the bikes true open market value..... You have to be mindful of expensive buyers & sellers premium fees & factor this in...as previous contributors have said, ebay is not much better with their fees..... Stick...

Prefer the one with the infernal combustion engine......

Large flange Record hubs on GP4 tubular rims, bearings/ threads all in good order; spokes are tied & soldered...these were part of the same drivetrain as the Pista chainset & pedals on my previous listing. £120 + post @ cost. Brooks Professional saddle; never tensioned or adjusted; nice copper...

Interesting image from Velobase showing the multi- position rear toothed ring & the sprocket range it can handle; comments also refer to it handling better than the Corsa Record in either friction or index mode....
