Exactly. This is my 1999 (2000 model I believe) in Jamaican Gold. The paint is just amazing, it was barely used when I got it but even after a few years of abused it just glows.

The Shimano 600 post of the era is very nice, doesn't sound like thats what you got though? I really like the gunmetal brakes in the 600 of the era, I have kept them on my bikes, yours is a bit more original than mine though.

Sometime between Trek buying the operations in 1995, the Adroit becoming a re-badged Attitude (1997) and the operations moving from Klein's Chehalis factory at the end of 2001. For me, my mountain bike gets ridden hard through all terrain and weather and I am happy with a Treklein Attitude...

Thanks for sharing all this information, I can never get enough of old Klein literature on the road bikes. You have a rare bike there and possibly one of the oldest Klein's left in existence. Certainly something to treasure, but still ride! I think I'd want a bit more seat post in the tube...

You lost my interest at "International bidders ... you have to leave a feed back as soon as you send the payment" ... I was pretty keen but positive feedback before the thing has arrived is a bit much to ask, especially if it never arrives! Good luck with the sale though.

Those early serials aren't real helpful. They changed in 91 or 92 to include the month/year of production.
