For Sale Shimano 11sp Parts to Sell

Hi. Got a few parts to move on. I'd planned on changing my Kona to 11sp, but I've decided on something else for it (M950). Its on the turbo for winter now anyway. All these parts are N.I.B. unboxed for photos only. Never fitted, Allen Key never used, pedals not fitted, shifter never put onto a...

How do Proflex full suspension bikes ride

I had an 856 for a long time. It was a good bike. Wish I'd kept it now. Elastomers were changed to springs which were great. I didn't like the idea of elasomers changing over time and temperature. Think it was a Scottish company called RDS that did them in very small numbers. They seemed to...

TREK 8300 pro composite project HELP

Definitely keep up with the build thread please. I'd like to see what you're doing. For cleaning up the inside threads, the only decent way to remove rust is to tap them out. M6 i think from memory. If you can get a bolt in though that'll tell you if the threads are ok. Another thing to do...

Retro frame + new components.. yes or no?

I don't know tbh. Me personally, I'd like to see the build. Its great seeing mostly period correct builds on the forum, and the odd mix of old and new is fine. Wouldn't be so keen if the balance was the other way round though, so I can appreciate your question. I'll be having the same question...

a further Team ONCE Look - here the Titanium made LOOK KG 292

Very nice! I like it more with the spoked wheels. Matching Ti stem I'm guessing. I like the seatpost grub screw for the clean lines, but they need some care for long term use. The front shifter setup also helps for its clean lines. Cool bike man - Very nice indeed! 🙂

    Confession time.....I'm gravel curious !

I'll be interested to see what you come up with. There's something about gravel bikes that's appealing. Don't know if they would solve your problem though. Sounds like you're on the track of different frame for a better position on the bike anyway. Lot's of stem and bar combinations which should...
