    1998 Klein Mantra Koi

It's a lot of fun. Not a bad climber and exciting in a kind of sketchy way downhill. I have to admit though the most fun I have had on a bike in forever is on the Mantra at the local concrete skate park with the kids on their scooters.

Still digging this bike. Great frames to ride especially with the longer bombers on so the head angle isn't instant death. A photo from ages ago that didn't make it to this thread.

    AMP Forks - Castle Cranks - Flites x3 - Nitrox - 3DV H20 etc

Re: AMP Forks - Castle Cranks - Flites x3 - Nitrox - 3DV H20 Hopefully ebay is calculating OS postage correctly, I packed and weighed everything before listing. Can anybody confirm? Australian Patina

Re: Some Australian Patina Thanks chaps :-) I wasn't sure how this would be received here. The spring is a hite-rite. A tip of the hat to the retro mtb'ers but with the added bonus of returning my saddle to where I like it after a short arse (loml) has been on it.

    Australian Patina

Something completely different. 1970's Speedwell GTS. I found the frame on gumtree is a sad state and had a little fun with the build. It reminds me of the pile of bikes in the corner of the huge shed on my grandads farm when I was a kid. A mix of 20" and 27" old dragsters and 50's roadsters...

    keith Bontragers "Experimental".

Amazing! When was this frame built?

If you were to buy a modern bike what would you choose?

I wouldn't mind building up one of the 21" ERB frames for a laugh. Would have to strip and repaint though.
