    Giant Peloton Superlite

Everything on bikes seems to be expensive to me! Ebay is a very good place to watch out for things like that though. My poor old superlite has been falling to pieces lately... I managed to snap off the rear gear lever (it was plastic), so I've given up with gears, stripped off the front...

Correction: I DID bend the frame. The drop out and hanger were totally twisted... A pair of pliers soon sorted that though. New derailleur is fitted and it seems to shift better than ever. I'm off to give it a test run! Harrah! :)

Well it's a Campy groupset, so I've brought a new derailleur from ebay that looks the same and was made around the same time. Fingers crossed. I only paid £100 for the whole bike! Isn't that stupid? It's as fun to ride as my Dad's £2000 Specialized, haha. (Much harder going uphill though)...

My Peloton Superlite... I'm putting a new saddle on it. The red looks a little out of place, but it's more comfy that the horrible thing that was on it before.

You rode 150k on a bike that doesn't fit you, on three hours sleep, after a night out? Hahaha, that's very impressive. Well, thankfully, I didn't damage the frame or anything. I've just gotta fit a new derailleur and chain... still a pain though, as it's my only bike.

The Madone 5.5 is the most beautiful contraption I've ever seen. http://www.trekbikes.com/images/bikes/2 ... erblue.jpg How much was it on offer for?

I just searched that stem in google images, and I think it's actually longer than it looks in that photo. But I'm sure if you look around you could find a shorter one. Okay, I'll take a picture tomorrow :) It's in pieces at the moment since I snapped the rear mech off, I haven't ridden for...

    Giant Peloton Superlite

Oh, see I have the 58cm frame. It's very slightly on the small side, but I tend to use it in traffic a lot (central London), so it feels good being compact and nippy. The 63 frame must be HUGE! You could maybe try getting a different stem to bring the handlebars a bit closer and higher...

Haha! Good point... Well I'm 6'2" and 155lbs, so I can blame it on the bike :D

How much does yours weight roughly? My Superlite weights 24lbs  Not so Superlite by today's standards... I love these bikes! Still feel very quick and responsive (except when you're going uphill). Mine's currently in pieces though :( - Snapped the rear mech off in the spokes...
