Thanks Chris, I really hope to be able to make it. Mentioned it to my wife and she mumbled something about wanting me to do something but I think I can get out of that  I'm in Angola at the moment, home Thursday, hangover Friday, kids Saturday so should be ok for biking Sunday!

28/3/10 hull area ride NOW AFTERMATH

chrisv40 - I ride my Bullit mainly, but must confess to not having done much riding the last couple of years or so due to work commitments, family, houses, being forty something, the usual. When i've been out locally we usually stay round the wood above North Ferriby on the mini downhill (if it...

    Should I rebuild it?

sastusbulbas - This one had a u-brake originally, i had it changed to cantilevers with cable stops on the top tube. Hence the izumi sticker to hide the transition from original paint to new, 'cos that part of the red was resprayed - by me  I "skipped" my first mountain bike about 10...

    Should I rebuild it?

1988 Stumpjumper - had it from new. Bought as a frame only from John Stevenson at Two Wheels Good in Leeds, if anyone remembers it. Still got most the bits i think.

    1992 Pace RC200 F1

Nope, completely original. There are a few dings and scrapes when you look close up and the seat tube has a small split just below the collar, but its been there as long as i can remember and not got any worse. I spoke to Duncan McDonald, who built it, years ago about getting it repaired and...

The Introduce Yourself Here Thread III

Hello Everyone :D Stumbled across this site yesterday whilst trying to find picture of a Mantis Flying V - now that was some machine in its time. Anyway, it was nice to find such a big following of older bikes. I've been mountain biking officially since 1986, though was building up my own...
