Cheers that's what I was wondering if there is an actual filler, especially if it's coloured to suit that I can fill the hole with then shine the saddle up with something. Il search around and see what I can get.

Hum maybe, I've got loads of sump sealant at work. Might work if it dries hard. Seems a shame to do a full refurb to a nice saddle!

I've just had a quick look and found schwalbe road cruisers, they look quite good. Im sure last time I searched I saw s tyre with a similar tread pattern. I don't think I've ever seen the maximum reaction tyres and to be hounest I didn't know they ran such a wide tyre on the better models!
