Have you tried a bit of white spirit?

Reckon your gonna have to get it sand blasted and powder coated if you want it pristine?

Could be, I don’t think you will shift it without using a more harsh cleaner like thinners, but that will cause you a major problem but taking the paint as well.

Looks like old decal residue, T Cut should shift it though?

I’m looking for damper shaft seals, cirlips for cartridge and for stanchions, also the big seal that sits on the piston itself, so not to much!

Yea it’s a real gamble whether when you open them up, you never know what type cart you’re gonna get! Can’t pm at the moment not enough posts, but working on it!

Has anyone got any advice on sourcing seals, circlips etc to rebuild damper cartridge’s on 95 - 97 judy’s Cheers
