For Sale 1994 Fire Mountain - Complete bike - Very small frame (or component swaps)

I got this locally because it was round the corner and figured I would part it out. Sizing in photo but is 13.5 inch BB centre to TT centre. However, having done a kid sized rebuild with my daughter recently, I felt guilty and figured someone might make better use of it with their...

    GT Stem options - 1992

I think that is the one that i have seen elsewhere, it’s hard to tell in the images but it seems to be without anything with the company’s branding. The quill one i have has the cap over the back of the stem stamped with GT etc.

    GT Stem options - 1992

That’s exactly the kind of thing i was looking for, obviously GT with the logo in like the current one, but threadless!

    GT Stem options - 1992

I have a Pantera Al that i am midway through doing up that i have had since i was a kid. It originally had (and i do still have) the GT branded quill stem. I am putting on a set of bombers and threadless aheadset. Did any GT from the 1993-1995 kind of era ever come with a stem that was the same...

Wanted Bomber Z2 (preferably light version - green sliders but any considered)

Would consider it definitely. Green would be the ideal as the wheels are mavic citrus but red would work. Need them in good nick so they look nice on the bike! Will be adding one of the dr zocchi canti hangers to the bridge so i can stay with the original style of brakes.

Wanted Bomber Z2 (preferably light version - green sliders but any considered)

Pulled it all to bits yesterday. It's tricky because the current steerer is 1 1/8 threaded whereas these are inevitably going to be threadless. My guess is that i will need at least 185mm minimum. Possibly a bit more for comfort as that would mean i am zero stack and no spacers.

Wanted Bomber Z2 (preferably light version - green sliders but any considered)

I am after a pair of bomber Z2, 1 1/8 steerer, earlier variants with the CNC style brace and no disc mounts. Would prefer the green-leg light version for purely cosmetic reason but any other variant in good condition considered. Posted in UK. Thanks

    Sold Magura HS33 Black Pair

Damn it, there's always a catch. How can i build a desirable retro weapon without some nice grey amtico (which incidentally looks identical to my own kitchen floor)

GT STS XCR1000 - Fairly sure something is off with rear suspension geometry

You should be able to specify a G or Z series of these to work precisely https://www.igus.co.uk/product/64?artNr=GFM-0608-06

GT STS XCR1000 - Fairly sure something is off with rear suspension geometry

All the new parts fit and make it work correctly. Thankfully. Have pressurised the shock to about 200psi both ends which brings the marks into line nicely. the closest off the shelf bushes i could buy to reline the dogbone would leave a 0.8mm gap in the middle which is what it looks like mine...

GT STS XCR1000 - Fairly sure something is off with rear suspension geometry

Thanks, I was looking in the photos and figured they look like IGUS bearings (I am a mechanical engineer by trade so geek out on this stuff) so i figured i would measure up in case i needed a set when i pull the dog bone out.

GT STS XCR1000 - Fairly sure something is off with rear suspension geometry

Thanks for those, that will be really helpful when i, inevitably, decide to strip it all out and regrease! Hoping the new dogbone arrives from germany and solves the conundrum
