    steel frames.....any recommendations?

How about a retro-modern Cervelo Superprodigy. I found this one new in a shop. ( did not get any discount though, the shop knew that they are rare). Still deciding if it is the right size for me. There might be other NOS's outthere if you search:

On my frame the cable guide is a integrated part of the rear derailleur. If you google for Shimano ax rear derailleur pictures you will see the cableguide on top.

    Biemmezeta Roadbike - bought it....

Yes, i think you are right. Also the headset is a Campagnolo and the crankset is a newer version 600 too. The AX brakes look cool, but as far as i have tested them by now : they brake like c... So i am considering moving over my Dura-Ace 7400 brakes and levers together with some older DA...

    Biemmezeta Roadbike - bought it....

Yes, you should be right about that i reckon. I bought it as it looked like a good deal, eventhough i have no clue which tubeset has been used, no decals on the bike at all. But it has a nice colour :D and for 130EUR it cannot be all bad. Lugged steel frame, Shimano 600 AX components...

    One for our Danish Friends

The Chicky boys where on Danish Principia's The owner has a Chicky World jersey hanging with the bike, perhaps this was Bjarke's? Although from what you say, the timing would be wrong for him to have ridden this bike when in the team. What were the official CW team bikes?

    One for our Danish Friends

Like the former poster, i have never seen a "Bjerre" frame here in Denmark. Must be a rebranded bike. But as stated there where many small bikebuilders at the time, where you could decide the paintscheme on your own. "Grebart Cykler" is one addition to the above mentioned, they where...

    Biemmezeta Roadbike - bought it....

Hi There I am looking at buying a supposedly 20 year old Biemmezeta bike with Shimano 600 AX parts. It looks very nice - but i have never heard about the brand before. A quick internet search did not reveal much besides something about Biemmezeta being a italian factory that built for...

New man on site with his GT Fury and Cinelli Supercorsa

Well, yes. I have not tried the SLX version, but this one rides remarkably well. Very stiff in the BB and very responsibe when applying torque to the pedals - but the headtube is still quite flexible, not a bike for a full standing sprint........

New man on site with his GT Fury and Cinelli Supercorsa

It is unfortunatly not SLX tubing, but one of the newer frames with Columbus Neuron. It is probably a better frame for it, but SLX would have been more classic. I bought it new from a shop nearby that had received a stock of Cinelli frames just around the time that steel went out of fashion...

New man on site with his GT Fury and Cinelli Supercorsa

Hi Steve Thanks. It looks like a good place to be in The Cinelli is a work in progress. I intend to take it back in time with more suitable components, but here it is assembled with what-ever i had in the big componentbox at the time : Right now it lives as a singlespeed, but i have a...
