    Ouch !!!

Larger view here..... I don't know how he's done it, but stepping through the video it looks like the front wheel comes off the ground just before it all goes bad, and it's tucked the front as it's landed. Maybe leant way back in his salute, I really dont know.

Frame ID - Concorde Aquila 1986? Ciocc?

Can you tell what is stamped on the front of the bb shell here? The numbers will be the size, I see what appears to be an 8, so is it a 48 or 58 cm frame? Underneath I see an L, can you tell what the letter in front of the L was (my guess is S) ? I believe your frame is from the 1990's...

Frame ID - Concorde Aquila 1986? Ciocc?

So, I've been thinking about this a bit. I think this was originally a Ciocc road bike rather than a Concorde, given the pantograph on the lower head tube lug. The track conversion doesn't seem to be the same standard of workmanship, as previously noted. The seat stay caps are certainly not as...

Frame ID - Concorde Aquila 1986? Ciocc?

What does the BB shell look like? This picture is an 1985 ish Concorde Aquila from the Ciocc / Cicli John factory. Multiple different builders made Concorde frames at different times, Ciocc was definitely one of them, though it's generally accepted that this was after Giovanni Pelizzoli had sold...

Cannondale fan/geeks needed for Ebay Weirdo {or other bike heads please wade in]

Looks just like mine, who knew... Next he'll be complaining the bidon cage bosses are damaged when a M5 screw won't go in the UNF hole:LOL:

    "concorde" frame identification, help.

When considering how to remove the paint, bear in mind that the TSX tubes are 0.6mm wall thickness at the thinnest points. I would consider conventional sandblasting to be too aggressive for this work. Glass bead or maybe walnut shell blasting could suit if done well.

    "concorde" frame identification, help.

It's your frame, so therefore your choice. If you would not be painting it yourself, I'd suggest that before committing to a repaint you should price the work first. A professional repaint with quality stickers isn't cheap.

    "concorde" frame identification, help.

In very broad terms, Aquila is second most desirable steel Concorde after the Squadra. A Billato built Aquila in TSX such as this will ride superbly. Flamingo is a colourscheme, not the model.

    "concorde" frame identification, help.

Seems to me to be a mid 90s Aquila. 1993 catalog has the Aquila in TSX, and a paint scheme that is close, but not exactly that. Yours is definitely TSX, that's the TX stamped in the BB shell by the size marking. https://www.retrobike.co.uk/threads/concorde-1993-catalogue.94784/

Help me ID a Concorde Squadra

Here you go, it's in 2 parts . I may have to redo some pages , due to an old camera (and dodgy old man eyes) . https://www.retrobike.co.uk/threads/concorde-catalogue-1991.464284/ https://www.retrobike.co.uk/threads/concorde-catalogue-1991-pages-11-to-17.464285/

1991 Concorde catalogue, from my own collection. Hopefully the size and resolution of the images is suitable, there's a few pages I probably need to redo. First 10 pages here, 7 more in the next post.

Help me ID a Concorde Squadra

I belive I have seen your frame on FB, is it the one with no paint currently? There is nothing in my catalogue about track bikes at all I'm afraid.

Help me ID a Concorde Squadra

I have the physical catalogue in my collection. I'm happy to share it once I have finished the photographing, cropping and collating of it (which is underway). My Squadra, which is older than yours is a Billato build, and apart from Campagnolo vesus Ultech dropouts is more or less identical (and...

Help me ID a Concorde Squadra

It's not a colour combo I've seen, but Concorde did supply club based teams in Belgium and (I assume) Holland, so it could be hard to track down. Does it have a size and TX stamped on the drive side of the BB shell? The serial number in that format seems to imply it was made as a race frame, the...

I need help to identify this Colombus Concorde frame

It's my belief this was made in Italy by Billato for Rentmeester B.V. / Concorde, 3E is their code for Aelle tre tubi. Any Billato from this era is worth keeping in my opinion.

    "concorde" frame identification, help.

My guess, and I stress guess, is the C is for Cromor. Mine says SL, for Columbus SL. The stamped ears on the seatpost clamp imply this isn't top range. Time for you to start searching images of Cromor Concordes I guess. Good luck, my Concordes all ride well 👍, this should be good too.
