Re: Mines a 5 digit number, in the early years there was the 1st 2 digits for the year then the frame number so there would have been 781, 7810 and mine 78110 that year. Yours could be say 92 but just showing 2 and the second frame that year? It's not always as simple as you may 1st imagine...

Is there any numbers on it, i would check the rear drop outs carefully I looked at that on the bay and thought is was a replacement fork due to the mudguard stay mounts that are in different positions. The frame looks just post war to me
