Hi all, i have an old GT karakoram and the rear shifter is broken. It is a deore LX 3x9, the local bike shop says it will be around £70 to replace, does anybody have a rear shifter (or shifter plus derailleur) that will suit. The bike is the same as the one in this link:-...

Hi all, i have an old GT karakoram and the rear shifter is broken. It is a deore lx, the local bike shop says it will be around £70 to replace, is there a cheaper way as the bike isn't worth much more than this (plus i'm pretty skint!)
