    Re: Yes, you are right, I'm not going to take any chances with it. I imagine its not that comfortable to have a fork collapse at speed.. I'll stick with the heavy tange struts for now, at least its safe. Hopefully a new one will pop up - in the right colour :) Thanks for your answers

    Re: Thank you for your reply. It is a Elevation 8000 (1992). I think it is a 18,5" but i dont have the exact model catalog scan, could also be 16,5" cannot get the top tube measurements to match accurately (About 565mm top tube "A" measurement). I don't know at what temperature he "baked"...

    Hi Is it possible to use a 8/9 speed hub/freewheel with 7-speed XT M735 derallieur? If so, what is the best option - 7-speed cassette with spacer or 8-speed casette without using the one cog? I have M095 STI shifters. Thanks
