Hi I’m looking for 1”forks for my 1989 Raleigh 531c race, which is a 64cm frame, so I’m looking for a fork with a steerer length of over 250mm I’d say , I’d rather have 531, but I would consider the lower spec if it I’ll fit with recessed Allen sleeve calliper brakes.

Great looking bike , I hope my road ace looks as good as yours, is that a short cage rear derailleur? Does it shift fine with the 30 tooth cassette? I’m looking to work with a 30 cassette, but I don’t know if to use my long cage 105 or try a smaller old style 6500 Ultegra.

I have a 77 pro, its so good to ride, I ended up selling my carbon Giant Defy, and I thought the Defy was a comfy bike, the Carlton Pro is the best bike ive ever rode.

looks like the same lugs as my 1977 Carlton Pro ,but this frame has brase ons for the gear leavers , it may be a Raleigh lightweight from the late 80s, if it is a Carlton pro it will be a super ride, I stopped riding carbon after riding the Pro, best bike ive ever had.
