    1993 Kona Kilauea

    1993 Kona Kilauea won bike of the year. Kona sold out of their stock and had to release a 1993.5 model, mid season. I know this because I owned a metallic green '93.5 Kilauea, back in the day. Nice bike!

    Re: The original Campignola drivetrain was still intact, but I updated it with a 3-speed Shimano Nexus internally geared hub, Halo rims and a Sturmy Archer 3-speed shifter mounted to the downtube.
