I'm trying to keep the build periodish correct and using the make's that kona used that year, ie the high end kona cantis were dia-compe 987's so got some NIB ones from america ect. So for the chinset i'd idealy like to go with sugino or as i have gone with an XT groupset maching in an XT...

Stupid question i know but does the length effect the ride? the cranks i had were 175mm but have seen some lovely NOS 170mm ones! What to do? would i tell the difference? Cheers

Hi I have a project exactly the same as this! just checked the shed to see if it was still in there...lol I was going to have mine resprayed in original colours but not so sure now, also i have aquired period xt groupset of some very nice and helpful people off here but not sure if i'm going...
