Dave Yates Reynolds fillet brazed 853 frame. XTR 950 MTB

That’s a game of skill. 😎 (I thought the brakes would be the thing - good V’s getting obsolete, etc).

    Koski Trailmaster

I quite like buying old cars on a wing and a prayer: I once asked a dealer if there was anything he wouldn’t touch - he said only if it’s from ….. oh wait, that’s the place in America? 😁

Dave Yates Reynolds fillet brazed 853 frame. XTR 950 MTB

    Bikes and trains

Thanks, it’s a bit of a home brewed special: frame is 1980s tourer, fork a mystery - but makes a very capable go anywhere, (coughs) gravel bike. A few more pics here

Just caught up to this - great work and what a lovely result. The rear mech caught my eye - have you modded cage and jockey wheels?

    What’s on your bench?

Yep, apparently if you haven’t got LEDs in your, er crib, you’re not trying hard enough. (I’ve been resisting a “spinny chair’ but wouldn’t mind some sort of stool)

    What’s on your bench?

15 yr old son told me I need to “get tidied up”. Can’t argue.
