Re: FRESH from re-paint, MINT Rocky Mountain Altitude TO (1997) Hahaha, quite right as well. You'll note that I mentioned this in the text of the ad--just in case there were any less eagle-eyed than you. I'll be sanding down the posts shortly!

SOLD! FRESH from re-paint, MINT Rocky Mountain Altitude TO (1997)

Re: Re: Quite right--and I did not mean to malign any vendor here. To be clear (and I'll update the text of the first post), I didn't get the decals from you. I got the DT and small decals from another of the vendors here at RB, and the top tube decals locally. I agree, they aren't factory...

And a few of the Judy SL lowers... All decals here (and on the bike) were applied before the final clear coat. This adds to the durability of the decals!

SOLD! FRESH from re-paint, MINT Rocky Mountain Altitude TO (1997)

I bought this bike locally, but the paint, oh the paint was terrible. Such a beautiful bike as this deserved much better. Driving home today with this in the back seat, I was thinking of just hanging this on the wall--it truly is a piece of art! But, I think it deserves more...it deserves to...

1995 Kona Hei Hei with some modern touches...

Re: Re: The P2s sure are nice. Track super well, and you're right--as built, this thing climbs like a billy goat. Or more accurately, a billy goat if it were carrying an out-of-shape 40+ year old dude on its back (that's me, hahaha!)

1995 Kona Hei Hei with some modern touches...

Hope you enjoy my recently completed pseudo-retro build! Admittedly, it is not period perfect, there are some mixed years, and some strange outliers (carbon bars?) but I like it! A good mix, in my view! For those WW amongst you: 20lbs on the nose, with cage and pedals! 1995 Kona Hei Hei, 20"...

Looks like Rocki Mtn... ...my countryman has first dibs for now! Tires are blackwalls, tread is in pretty darn good condition--one (rear IIRC) still has those rubber "thingies" attached--haven't worn 'em off!

Rocky Mountain Altitude TO (1997) decal colour?

Good afternoon all! I'm working on my first retro-ish build, and my frame is in the shop for a repaint. Which won't be easy given the maple leaf fade on that particular frame, so fingers crossed! I'm ordering decals from velocals--I heard they do good work! Just a quick question, I know that...

SOLD: A veritable plethora of late-vintage cycling gear!

Ahoy folks! Sorry for the overly broad title, but the limited number of characters precluded a comprehensive list! I was working on a build, but collected a few too many items. Now that I've got some clarity on the direction of my retro build, I thought I'd sell some of the surplus items...

    RM Altitude TO geometry query...

Thanks!!! Very helpful--I went in and found that the TT of the 19.5" is around 23.5" give or take. Couldn't find the ST length but will keep looking! The reason for my question is this: I found an Altitude TO in 19.5, which is at the paint shop (otherwise I'd be measuring myself!). However...

    RM Altitude TO geometry query...

Ahoy there folks! First post here! Just looking to track down some geometry (mainly TT, ST lengths) for a 19.5" RM Altitude TO (1996-1997). I looked at the wonderful catalogues in the forums here, but can't seem to make out the particular geometry, and am hoping one of you fine folks can...
