they just need setting up properly mate. Tried doing them myself and have no patience. They are fully adjustable so I have them dialled out as i mainly use it for the road so dont need masses amount of stopping power. Once dialled in then they rub but most definatly stop.

top tube length, from (frame)seat clamp to stem, 57.2cm 22.5" and from (saddle)seat clamp to centre of bars, 70cm 27.5" Go on! you can always grow!

Cheers dude. It is a lovely bike and I will be sad to see it go, I just can't justify having that kind of money tied up in a bike at the moment.

Im 6ft 3" and i have the seat at pretty much full strecth so could well fit. A couple of friends have ridden it without problems and they were sub 6ft. Youd be more than welcome to comeand try it out for size but being from Devon its a hell of a way.

anyone know how to tell the speed of a front mech??

how do i determine whether my front mech is 8 or 9 speed? im seeling a FD M953 front mech and nowhere on it does it say. Anyone any ideas?
