    Frame identification help please

I've had a gentle scrape at the paint and it definitely looks like there's chrome underneath, possibly all the way down the forks (but doesn't show up very well in the 3rd photo). But no sign of chrome on the cantilever bosses, so I'm guessing that they are later additions.

    Frame identification help please

Thanks again vcballbat, and for the link to the article. It's funny, I saw this frame on ebay and it just looked a bit special even to my untrained eye. But it certainly doesn't fit all the 'pigeon holes' perfectly. I definitely think it has been refinished previously, but it needs another...

    Frame identification help please

Now my thoughts are turning to the re-chroming. Has any one got any companies that they can recommend? I'm London/Kent area, but will travel for decent work. All the beautiful Raleigh/Carlton Professionals I have been shown are swaying me in to a full restoration.

    Frame identification help please

I have just bought this frame off eBay, and I wonder if anyone could help identify the maker or brand please? It has got Reynolds 531 decals, but I have no idea if the frame really is made from this. The cantilever brake bosses would suggest a touring bike, but there are no rack or bottle braze...
