    Check "Raleigh" tyres before purchase, some are actually Chinese Cheng Shin made and branded. The Cheng Shin Raleigh tyres fitted to my Retro Raleigh have prematurely perished sidewalls and are in need of replacement despite low mileage and almost no tread wear.

    What Seat Post Please

    My 1962 Raleigh Gran Sport has a non-original seat post fitted, (its got a later cheap chrome steel part currently). Can anyone tell me what seat-post would have been fitted as original equipment? I'm thinking possibly an alloy GB part? Thanks, Matt
