    For Sale Sirocco Columbus Frameset

No problem. I don't really need it so the fit would have to be bang on. :)

Wanted Large decent but not flashy 26" retro mtb frame/ frameset

Yep, OK. If you happen to get hold of a box from another purchase I'd be interested. Cheers though.

Wanted Large decent but not flashy 26" retro mtb frame/ frameset

Nope, can't see it.... I'm in Sheffield, non-driver so might be a bit far. Did you send the dimensions (seat tube, top tube and head tube lengths)? It may be a touch large, though I am sizing up as much as possible for this build - the standover might make it risky business.

Hmm - can't see anything - wonder why that is. What time did you reply, roughly?

Wanted Large decent but not flashy 26" retro mtb frame/ frameset

Hi - from what I know about these I would be looking for a 21inch c-t for the taller headtube. (At least 145mm preferable) -

Wanted Large decent but not flashy 26" retro mtb frame/ frameset

Cheers but this wouldn't have mudguard mounts would it? And would need a sus. Corrected fork? Would probably make a nice light fun bike but not commuter I think.

    1990 Specialized Rockhopper Comp

Any idea of the top tube length on this? I am due to pick one up (1990, advertised as) but it might be a touch big for me

    1990 Rockhopper top tube lengths...

Going to pick up a 1990 Rockhopper this weekend. Advertised as a 21" but the catalogue says they only made 20" and 22". I am looking to go large to get bars level with/1 inch above saddle for a commuter, so am going big for my 5ft9 height, especially as it's a horizontal TT frame. Standover not...

Wanted Large decent but not flashy 26" retro mtb frame/ frameset

Hi, I'm after something to replace my too-small commuter. Would like a decent, but not flash/collectable steel frameset. Likely in the 19-22 inch size range. Headtube at least 140mm long, assuming 400mm a-c forks, in order to get bars high enough. I am 5ft8.5 but as it's for...

Bob Jackson Audax Club Tyre Clearance (28?)

I think so too, but will ask them to check/confirm once my deposit is put down this week, which I think would be reasonable - I do have one bike which takes 25s with guards because the brake bridge is plenty high, but 28s are very close (1.5mm) at the chainstays due to the stays being n the...

Bob Jackson Audax Club Tyre Clearance (28?)

Re: I have, they were a bit non-committal - 'one 28 might measure 26, another might be 30'. Whereas I'm talking about a true 28, as measured with verniers. I think if I order with a deposit, they might be willing to go into it further - at the moment I'm just using their time with enquiries.

Bob Jackson Audax Club Tyre Clearance (28?)

Hi there, I'm close to pressing 'go' on a Bob Jackson Audax Club frame and asking this question in a few places in hope of an answer. While it's nominally a mudguard bike, I'm speccing it as a summer bike with oversized tubing, no mudguard or rack eyelets, hoping to run 28mm tyres. I've gone...
