    RALEIGH M-TRAX 1000 1994/5

I just got this M-Trax 1000 very cheap and I'm working on it at the moment. It runs fine and and is a great everyday bomber. M-Trax were bonded but I can assure you this is not bonded and it does not say so in the 1995 catalog but does say so for the more expensive models. The teal green on the...

    1996 (ish) Raleigh M-Trax 1000

I have one of these and looking at the catalog it does not mention bonded tubes for the 1000 and 2000 models. With the traditional lugs I reckon these are brazed. I have an 1995 model too with Reynolds K2 and a 1993 M-Trax 600 with Cro-Mo and Titanium that is obviously bonded!

Raleigh Dyna Tech appreciation and information thread

Re: I love these bikes. I'm addicted to the bonded frame malarky! This is my collection. I've an M-Trax 600 from 1992, M-Trax 1000 K2 from 1995 and the 1990 Encounter is under construction. I also have the Dyna-Tach 400 road bike.

    DYNA-TECH 400

Thank you. Can this post be moved to the appropriate section by an administrator? Anyway regarding the bikes, they are very cool and I also have an M-Trax 600 MTB with Titanium main tubes. I hear a lot about the Dyna-Techs de-bonding but some people treat bikes pretty harshly, or may have got...

    DYNA-TECH 400

The bonded Raleigh Special Products Division bikes from the early 90s with the Dyna-Tech badge. There is not an awful lot about these bikes on the net. They seem to have a cult following though as I have seen on this site. I discovered them a couple of months ago when I bought an M-Trax 600...

The Penguin Book of the Bicycle

I found this in a used book store and it's now on the bedside table. It was published in 1978 but that's not offputting at all as it goes through in great detail the origins of the bicycle, sport, manufacture, tubes, it's a mine of information to be honest! Here are a few pics from it. Great...

    Rebirth of the Cool!

The Peugeot and the Avalanche are approx 22" frames, saying that my two good road bikes are 23.5" and I have three more 23" road bikes. The big MTB are a bit gangly all the same!

    Rebirth of the Cool!

Re: Thank you. It's my obsession at the moment, but a great way to tinker with mechanics and keep fit at the same time. It's a full time hobby, every bike I see has potential. I draw the line at hybrids, carbon road bikes, low end aluminium road bikes and most modern MTBs with suspension. So...

    Peugeot Pro Team 1991

Re: Wow! It's a beauty. The green 531 frame! I like the simplicity of the single chainwheel too. That bike looks new!

    Steel is Real!

Since I spend half the time drooling over the bikes I see here, I thought I share my own road bikes! Thanks for all those wonder pictures of amazing machines!

    Rebirth of the Cool!

Hello everyone and thanks for letting me in! I take it most of the people on here just love the old bikes, and like myself find the world of the Trek and Giant look-a-likes super-boring. Who needs carbon? I got a Hi-Carbon steel bike! Anyway I've only ever had one MTB and it was a pretty nasty...
