    Re: Yep, seems common on the aluminium swing arms too Rob. FX's seem to suffer the same. It appears to me that the mounts are a touch too wide for the shock ends..

    Re: Thanks Kev. The problem is that it's made from aluminium with a few percent of scandium. The scandium makes the aluminium 50% stronger, so less material can be used. Welding (heat) misalignes the molecules and reduces strength. I know a very good aluminium welder, which makes it more...
