    1995 Orange Vit T2 19" complete bike ** SOLD **

Re: I've had a couple PMs very interested and basically I'll let it go to the first person who commits to the price and collecting it. If anyone wants to speak to me about it then PM me and I'll send my phone number. Note these photos were taken in 2007, bike now doesn't have those...

    1995 Orange Vit T2 19" complete bike ** SOLD **

Re I'd say neither. power transfer is incredibly direct (my new bike is a Scott Spark Ltd and the Orange probably accelerates better). Haven't ridden a steel or alu bike for years so guess the titanium just takes away some of the harshness.

    1995 Orange Vit T2 19" complete bike ** SOLD **

I bought this new in 1995 (from 2XS in West Wittering) but would now like to sell it. Up until last year was my only bike but wasn't ridden for many years after purchase (house, family etc took priority). When I returned to riding a few years ago I replaced most parts with quality modern...

New PACE RC36 and PACE RC38 for Sale

Do you still have the PACE RC38 AirForce, 1" for sale? Can I double check you are meaning it has a 1" steerer? (I didn't realise Pace carried on supplying 1" forks this late). Do you know if the travel can be reduced (so as to not throw the geometry out too much on my 1" headtube'd frame)...

N.O.S. 1" Threaded Headset (XT or better)

Thanks Retrobikeguy and Fat Mike! Initially I thought I had missed a bargain as the only other one I could see from this seller was $50 plus shipping, however doing a search revealed he also had another two for $19.99 plus shipping. That should keep my bike running for a few more years...

N.O.S. 1" Threaded Headset (XT or better)

OK Mountainbike-Kult.de thank you for your reply. I will consider it for few days and see what else appears. The Speed-Tec certainly looks interesting with the bolted lockring.

N.O.S. 1" Threaded Headset (XT or better)

I'm after a new 1" MTB threaded headset. Does anyone have one lurking or has anyone seen one sitting the cabinet of your local bike shop? Thanks in advance :)

WTD: cheap, small but smart rigid MTB frame & forks

Have removed so many perfectly working parts from my bike that it occurred to me that I have enough bits to build a bike for the missus. So am after something cheap (<£60), small (16" ish) ideally old but smart cosmetic condition. Female-specific frame considered. Frame and forks wanted...

WTD: 1" threaded steerer tube ideally titanium

Thanks to JS1500 for the tip off re Jez, I will contact him. Thanks to Dave_H for the compliment about the bike. I keep wondering if I am wasting my time trying to make the VitT2 any lighter given the monstrous weight of the forks but it is still cheaper than buying a new bike and it is great...

WTD: 1" threaded steerer tube ideally titanium

Hi, Am seeking to shave some weight off my bike and having recently removed the forks to grease the headset am amazed at how heavy the current steel steerer tube is. Does anyone have an uncut 1" titanium threaded steerer tube that they would part with? The bike is an Orange VitT2 with Pace...

QEII park 16th September Hi Guys, Been lurking round these forums for a little while but now you're meeting 'in my back yard' I felt I should break my silence... I'm up for meeting at the QE park cafe at 10am. I'll be on my newest and only bike (which I bought in 1995!), my Orange VitT2...

    Chainstay chain anti-slap pulley thingy!

Agency_Scum, Thank you for posting the pic. I've just got back a visit to City Cycles in Chichester where I managed to pick up a brand new Mr Crud DCD for a fiver. I think it had been sitting in the cabinet for a good few years and they were just glad to get rid of it. So thank you for...

    Chainstay chain anti-slap pulley thingy!

<goes back from the tangent> Just browsing the rest of the site and found the USE brochure scan (http://www.retrobike.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1178). The item I was describing at the top of this topic was the USE Chain Karma. Mystery solved.

    Chainstay chain anti-slap pulley thingy!

Thanks for all the responses guys. I do remember the Mr Crud one but it wasn't that. The names Ging and Kore don't ring any bells so I don't think it was one of them. Agency_Scum, I might be interested in the one you have if you can post a pic or describe the colour/condition (I don't want...
